Our day trips are a perfect opportunity for you to experience some real Alaska backcountry

without interfering with your itinerary.

In Alaska there is so much to see and so little time. Perhaps you want to get into the wilderness during your visit to the Talkeetna/Denali area, but you don't have time to stay overnight at a remote wilderness lodge.

  We invite you to come join us for a half day at the lodge for an unforgettable day hike with lunch included. We have partnered with

Alaska Bush Floatplane Company & Talkeetna Air Taxi to make these fantastic day trips a possibility.

This tour begins with a short, scenic flight to the lodge. Upon arrival, our family will give you a tour of the lodge to show you a behind-the-scenes look at life in the Alaskan wilderness before packing a lunch and heading out for the day.

As with every hike, we are always on the lookout for moose, caribou, and bear. Your guide will lead the way and gladly answer all the questions you may have about the wildlife and plant life of the region. After a day spent out on the trail, you may even have time for a trip around the lake in a kayak or canoe before your departing flight back to Talkeetna.

*Many of our guests have the air taxi add a Denali scenic flight before arriving at our lodge.

The prices below are based on a 2 guest minimum, including:         

Flight, Guided hiking trip, and lunch for 2 people, along with use of lodge facilities.

(Larger groups are definitely welcome. Contact us for a quote and availability.)

 

*Both flight companies provide free parking for your vehicle.

 

4 Hour Guided Hike:

Approximately 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Half day tour with float-plane: $400 per person

Half day tour with helicopter:   $595 per person

 

 

6 Hour Guided Hike:

Approximately 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

 

Full day tour with float-plane: $500 per person

Full day tour with helicopter:   $695 per person
